Your age category is determined by adding the ages of both team members, or by your age as December 31th, 2021.

We have only 400 spots available (120 spots for Deluxe Pack and 280 spots for Self Support Pack). The registration deadline is December 18, 2020, but the spaces may fill up before that date.

Prices are set in Chilean and American Dollars. If paying by credit card, the amount will be charged in your currency’s equivalent.

Is it possible to stay in hotels or cabins throughout the event?2017-05-21T22:50:01+00:00

Yes, it is possible to stay in hotels during the 5 days, each competitor is responsible for finding hotel and make the corresponding reservation.

Do I need to provide my own sleeping bag?2017-11-27T13:08:48+00:00

Although we provide a tent at full support pack, you will need to bring your own sleeping bag and the Inflatable Mattress.

Which airport do I fly into?2020-01-17T11:29:23+00:00

You will need to fly into the Temuco airport (ZCO), located 700 km south of Santiago, Chile’s capital. LATAM Airlines www.latam.com, Sky Airline www.skyairline.cl and JetSmart Airline www.jetsmart.com have daily flights to Temuco. Upon arrival, you can take our shuttle to the campground. (please note that the shuttle service is not included in the registration fee).

How can I get to the race from the airport2017-05-21T22:50:01+00:00

We will have a shuttle service available starting January 3 days before the race start. To request a van, send your arrival time, date, and flight number to daniel@transandeschallenge.com. Transfer back will be working the day after the race ends.

Is it possible to ride the route before the race?2017-05-21T22:50:01+00:00

You will be able to ride almost 80% of the course before the start date. However, 20% of the course will remain closed until the stages begin.

Where can I find distance and elevation information about the course?2017-05-21T22:50:02+00:00

The route may change slightly before we confirm the final course. You can check out the routes and distances in the Stages section of our site.

How far apart are the feed zones and control stations?2017-05-21T22:50:02+00:00

Feed zones and control stations, where you have access to food and fluids for refueling, are usually located 1/3 and 2/3 of the way through each stage. Each stage will have two feed zones.

Will be there a race meeting?2017-05-21T22:50:02+00:00

The first dinner and race meeting will be held the day before the start at 7:30 p.m.
